The Gunderson Historic District in south Oak Park and consists of two discretebut related areas of single-family and two-flatapartments developed by the firm of S. T.Gunderson and Sons during the first decade ofthe 20th century.The single-family homes arepredominantly American Foursquare types.Although the homes were part of two separateplanned subdivisions with great similarities indesignamong the various buildings, eachstructure is individualized with original detailingof Colonial Revival, Artscommon features offoreshadow later sub- were on the west side of Chicago.
