By Lainey Simonson Introduction Have you ever eaten out at a 72yearold restaurant Well you may not know it but everyone has Who started McDonalds Richard and M aurice McDonald began a barbeque stand in 1940 In 1948 they went from barbeque to hamburgers A franchise agent named Ray Kroc joined the company in 1955 He purchased the company from Richard and Maurice and watched McDonalds grow worldwide It now has more than 2600 restaurants around the world
