Perang dingin terjadi setelah berakhirnya perang dunia ke 2 tahun 1945 oleh 2 negara sekutu yang memenangkan perang dunia ke 2 dan berakhir pada tahun 1989 perang dingin merupakan ajang saling untuk kecanggihan senjata karena merasa belum aman dari perang sehingga terus mengembangkan teknologi persenjataan
