26 2016 NOAA Warning THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH FOR THE CENTRAL PART OF MISSOURI FROM KANSAS CITY TO ST LOUIS ALONG THE I70 CORRIDER THIS WATCH IS EFFECTIVE ON THIS TUESDAY MORNING TO EVENING FROM 1130 AM UNTIL 900 PM CDT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS AND STORM SPOTTERS WERE TRACKING A LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS STORM FRONT THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATIONPEOPLE CAN EXPECT DESTRUCTIVE TORNADOES IN THE WATCH AREA PEOPLE CAN ALSO EXPECT LARGE HAIL TO 3 INCHES IN DIAMETERTHUNDERSTORMS AND STRAIGHTLINE WIND GUSTS UP TO 185 MPH ARE LIKELY AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING IS POSSIBLE IN ALL OF THESE AREAS
